Quietly majestic, the luminosity and simplicity of this grey house with lace trim made me stop in my tracks. It is set off by the brilliantly backlit front lawn and lush garden, reflecting light back onto the house. It was built in 1856 in Victorian Style, with the addition, or ell, at the left added more recently.
